Israel confiscated the PA foreign minister Riyad al-Maliki’s VIP travel permit upon his return to the West Bank because he had met with the ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda on 3/18. The PA foreign ministry called Israel’s decision an “attack against the State of Palestine.” The foreign minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn said his country deeply regretted the retaliatory action by Israel.
