In the West Bank, Israeli settlers assaulted 1 Palestinian near Burqa, damaging his vehicle. Israeli settlers also assaulted Palestinians in Hebron. Israeli forces shot and killed 1 Palestinian man in Huwwara. A video of the incident showed an Israeli soldier firing 4 shots at the Palestinian victim who was resisting the soldier’s attempt to detain him. The EU and the UN condemned the killing and called for an investigation. 11 Palestinians were injured protesting the killing, including 10 by tear gas and 1 with a baton round; Israel said that 2 soldiers were injured in a stabbing before the killing but it was unclear if the 2 incidents were directly related. Israeli forces also shot and injured 1 Palestinian during a late-night raid in Nablus; 1 member of the Lion’s Den was arrested. Elsewhere, Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Hebron, causing tear-gas related injuries. Meanwhile, Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Kafr Qaddum, injuring 3 with baton rounds and others with tear gas. Off the coast of Gaza, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen; no injuries were reported.
