PA president Mahmoud Abbas spoke with U.S. secretary of state Antony Blinken in a phone call. According to WAFA, Secretary Blinken told President Abbas that the U.S. is working on calming the situation in the West Bank after Abbas pressed Blinken on ensuring protection for Palestinians and their property.
