In the West Bank, Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian homes near Madama, causing damage. Israeli settlers also threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near al-Bireh, causing damage. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Kafr Qaddum, injuring 4 with baton rounds, including an international activist, and others with tear gas. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Bayt Dajan, injuring 1 with a baton round and others with tear gas. Elsewhere, Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian minor with live ammunition during a raid in Aida refugee camp, others suffered tear-gas related injuries. PA president Mahmoud Abbas spoke with U.S. secretary of state Antony Blinken in a phone call. According to WAFA, Secretary Blinken told President Abbas that the U.S. is working on calming the situation in the West Bank after Abbas pressed Blinken on ensuring protection for Palestinians and their property.
