In the West Bank, Israeli forces shot and killed 2 Palestinians, including 1 minor, and injured 11 others during a raid in Jenin refugee camp. The PA called the Israeli raid “an all-out war.” Israeli forces also prevented Palestinian farmers from harvesting olives in Awarta. 7 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Bethlehem and Mazra’a al-Qibliya. In East Jerusalem, 1 Palestinian gunman shot and killed 1 Israeli soldier at a checkpoint near Shu‘fat and injured 3 others. The gunman fled the scene and Israel closed the checkpoint and several others at Shu‘fat and ‘Anata, restricting movement and goods in and out of the cities until 10/13. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinians marching to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed; 5 were injured and 6 were arrested. 1 Palestinian family demolished their own home in Wadi al-Juz.
