Israeli police capped the participation of churchgoers for the Holy Fire ceremony on 4/15 at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre at 2,200. In the years prior to the Covid-19 pandemic the ceremony has been attended by around 10,000 people. The Israeli restriction was condemned by the PA, Jordan, and the Greek Orthodox Church.
