Elsewhere, Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian and attacked others with tear gas during a confrontation between Israeli settlers and Palestinians in Khirbet Tana. In Gaza, Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters at the Gaza fence, injuring 10 with live ammunition and others with baton rounds and tear gas. Israeli forces also conducted air strikes and fired artillery shells at Gaza, injuring 2 and causing damage, saying that 2 fires were started in Israel from incendiary balloons. Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly, saying Saudi normalization will “enhance the prospects of peace with the Palestinians,” while displaying a map depicting the new Middle East after normalization that omitted the West Bank or Gaza.
