In the West Bank, Israeli settlers raid Bizarya, setting fire to a shop and a bulldozer and attacking homes. Israeli settlers also throw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling between Nablus and Jenin. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers assault a Palestinian man in Beit Einun. Israeli settlers also start construction of a settler road in al-Farisiya in the northern part of the Jordan Valley. Israeli forces shoot and kill a Palestinian child during a raid in Meithalun. Israeli forces also shoot and injure 2 Palestinians, including a child, and assault a third Palestinian with rifles during a raid in Halhul. Elsewhere, Israeli forces shoot and injure a Palestinian man and assault 2 others, including a child, during a raid in Balata refugee camp. Israeli forces also shoot and injure a Palestinian child and set a vehicle on fire during a raid in al-Jadida. Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolish a 3-story home in Khirbet Qalqas, displacing 30 Palestinians. Israeli forces also demolish several agricultural structures east of Jericho. Separately, Israeli forces raze farmland and uproot around 150 grape and olive trees in Haris. Israeli forces also arrest 15 Palestinians during late-night raids in and around Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, Tubas, and Qalqilya. Palestinian officials say that the Israeli military have installed a metal sheet over al-Ibrahimi Mosque’s courtyard. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Rafah, Maghazi, Nuseirat refugee camp, Khan Yunis, and Gaza City, killing at least 50 people. Israeli forces also withdraw from the Shuja’iya neighborhood of Gaza City. Elsewhere, Israeli forces raise an Israeli flag at the Rafah crossing. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Ayta ash Shab, Rab El Thalathine, al-Addousiyeh, Taybeh, Kfar Kila, and Khiam. Hezbollah forces attack Kabri, Shtula, and al-Malikiyya with drones, killing an Israeli soldier in Kabri. More than 38,345 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 15,983 children and 10,637 women, and around 88,295 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 567 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 134 children. More than 5,420 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 325 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,097 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. At least 79,000 housing units have been destroyed and 370,000 have been damaged in Israeli airstrikes since 10/7/2023. 33 trucks carrying aid enter Gaza. The Civil Defense says more than 85% of buildings in Shuja’iya have become uninhabitable due to Israeli attacks and that 60 Palestinians have been found dead in rubble in the Gaza City neighborhood. The World Food Programme says 500,000 people in Gaza are facing catastrophic levels of hunger. The Israeli-run Jerusalem District Court rejects appeals filed by 11 Palestinian families against their evictions from their homes in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan. 2 families of 22 people are ordered to leave their homes immediately and pay $2,700 in legal expenses to the Ateret Cohanim settler group. 2 other families are ordered to leave their homes by 1/12/2025. The Lebanese health ministry says 466 people have been killed and 1,904 injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since October 2023. The ministry says 16% of the injuries are from Israeli-fired white phosphorous bombs. (AJ 7/11)

Hamas Political Bureau member Husam Badran says Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is manipulating matters related to ceasefire negotiations “to serve his personal interests.” Haaretz reports that Israel vetoed the release of 15 Palestinian prisoners Hamas seeks to have released as part of an exchange deal. Netanyahu is reportedly seeking to have Israel retain control of the Rafah crossing and Philadelphi Corridor as part of the ceasefire deal. An Israeli delegation led by Shin Bet director Ronen Bar arrives in Cairo for ceasefire talks. USAID administrator Samantha Power says Israeli officials have given her assurances that aid workers will be allowed to move more quickly and safely in Gaza. USAID also announces new $100 million in aid to Palestinians in Gaza via the World Food Programme. (AJ, HA 7/11; AP 7/12)

At the NATO summit in Washington D.C., Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez warns of double standards in dealing with the situations in Ukraine and Gaza, which he says can weaken the defense of a rules-based international order. U.S. president Joe Biden, who has had his fitness to serve as president questioned by many Democrats, introduces Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “President Putin.” At a news conference, Biden says that the Israeli government has been “less than cooperative” in allowing aid into Gaza and that the Israeli Security Cabinet “is one of the most conservative” in the history of Israel. Biden also says that there will be no Israeli occupation of Gaza at the end of the war and that the war “should end now.” Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan tells Newsweek while in Washington D.C. for the NATO summit that Biden is complicit in the Israeli war crimes in Gaza due to the U.S. support of Israel and at a news conference says that Turkey will not accept any NATO cooperation with Israel until a “comprehensive, sustainable peace is established in Palestine.” French president Emmanuel Macron says NATO must show that accusations of double standards in the approach to Ukraine and Gaza are unfounded. The Israeli military says its inquiry into events at Kibbutz Be’eri on 10/7/2023 has shown that the military failed to protect Israelis as it took more than 7 hours to respond to the attack.
