In the West Bank, Israeli settlers assault Palestinians with pepper spray during a raid in Umm al-Khair in the Massafer Yatta area. Israeli settlers also damage Palestinian homes during a raid in Bani Na’im. Israeli forces assault a Palestinian man near Tulkarm, fracturing his leg. An Israeli settler is injured and his car is set on fire after he enters Qalandia refugee camp. In East Jerusalem, Israeli authorities force a Palestinian family to demolish their own home in al-Tur. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Rafah, al-Bureij refugee camp, Mawasi, Nuseirat refugee camp, Maghazi, Khan Yunis, Jabalia refugee camp, and Gaza City, killing at least 40 people. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society says it has evacuated its temporary headquarters in Khan Yunis due to it being directly targeted by Israel. 2 Israeli soldiers are killed in combat in the Shuja’iya neighborhood of Gaza City. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Zibqin, Khiam, Kafr Kila, and Odaisseh. Hezbollah forces fire 2 rockets at Misgav Am. More than 37,834 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 15,694 children and 10,000 women, and around 86,858 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble, including 1,700 children. 546 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 131 children. More than 5,370 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 316 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 1,977 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. At least 79,000 housing units have been destroyed and 370,000 have been damaged in Israeli airstrikes since 10/7/2023. 8 trucks carrying aid enter Gaza. Hamas reiterates that it will engage positively with a ceasefire proposal that ends the war on Gaza. Axios reports that the U.S. has presented new language for article 8 of the ceasefire proposal to try to bridge the gap between the Hamas and Israel positions.
