Israeli forces also continue to uproot streets and destroy infrastructure and property. In Tulkarm, Israeli forces shell a house with anti-tank missiles, killing 2 Palestinians. Israeli forces also shoot and kill a Palestinian child, injure his father, uproot streets, damage infrastructure, and impose a curfew on Tulkarm refugee camp. Separately from the raids on Tulkarm and Jenin, Israeli forces shoot and injure 2 Palestinians, including a 7-year-old child, and demolish a water well during a raid in Dahariya. Israeli forces also shoot and injure a Palestinian child during a raid in Qalqilya. Elsewhere, Israeli forces demolish 2 homes in al-Zawiya. Israeli forces also demolish 3 homes and commercial structures east of Nablus. Meanwhile, Israeli forces take measurements for a punitive demolition in Idhna. Israeli forces also raid Birzeit University, seizing university property. Separately, Israeli forces arrest 22 Palestinians during raids. In East Jerusalem, Israeli settlers tour the Haram al-Sharif compound. Israeli forces assault Palestinians during a raid in Shu’fat refugee camp. Israeli forces also summon Supreme Islamic Council head Ekrima Sabri for interrogation. More than 40,819 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 16,456 children and 11,088 women, and around 94,291 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 674 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 147 children. More than 5,420 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 340 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,266 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. The U.S. Justice Department announces criminal charges against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and Hamas members Marwan Issa, Khaled Mashaal, Mohammed Deif, Ali Baraka, and Ismail Haniyeh, including charges of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization resulting in death, conspiracy to murder U.S. nationals, and conspiracy to finance terrorism. The charges were originally filed in February under seal. Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran on 7/31 while Israel claims to have killed Deif and Issa in Gaza.
