PA prime minister Mohammad Mustafa participates in an Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee meeting on ending Israel’s war on Gaza. Mustafa meets with the foreign ministers of Algeria, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Malta, and Trinidad and Tobago. UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric calls the closure of the Al Jazeera office in Ramallah very concerning, saying it is “another example of journalists not being allowed to do their work in this conflict.” Irish president Michael Higgens calls the closure “outrageous.” The International Federation of Journalists and the Foreign Press Association also condemns the move.
