In the West Bank, Israeli settler abduct a Palestinian man from al-Awsaj near Jericho. Israeli settlers, led by former National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, also raid al-Maniya, planting olive tree saplings on Palestinian land. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers raid Khirbet al-Farisiyya, threatening Palestinians. Israeli settlers also destroy water pipes supplying parts of Kisan. Israeli forces continue raids in Jenin and Jenin refugee camp for the 24th day in a row, bombing a car, causing no injuries, assaulting 2 Palestinians at the Jalamah checkpoint, issuing 2 demolition notices for homes in Jenin, and preventing water from reaching 4 hospitals and about 35% of Jenin’s residents. Israeli forces also continue raids in Tulkarm, Tulkarm refugee camp, and Nur Shams refugee camp for the 18th day in a row, demolishing infrastructure in Nur Shams refugee camp. More than 48,239 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,881 children and 12,287 women, and around 111,676 have been injured since 10/7/2023. In addition, 14,222 Palestinians who have been missing are presumed dead. 909 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 182 children. More than 6,500 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 408 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,579 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 92% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. Israeli government spokesperson David Mercer says Hamas must release 3 Israeli captives on 2/15 to keep the ceasefire going. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had earlier in the week suggested that all captives must be released on 2/15 after U.S. president Trump made that demand on 2/10. Another spokesperson says that there will be no mobile homes or heavy equipment will be able to enter Gaza. Hamas says the ceasefire is back on track, that it will release 3 captives on 2/15, and that negotiations in Egypt are focused on securing the delivery of caravans, tents, heavy equipment, medical supplies, fuel, and other aid into Gaza. Lebanese Parliament speaker Nabih Berri says the U.S. has informed him that Israel will remain at 5 sites past the withdrawal deadline of 2/18, saying he responded that he and the government reject that. French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot says UN peacekeepers could replace Israeli forces at the sites where Israel says it needs to keep its forces after the deadline. The Lebanese government instructs the Beirut International Airport not to welcome planes from Iranian airline Mahan Air, prompting protests near the airport.
