Jewish settlers occupy 2 empty Arab-owned buildings in Hebron, refuse to leave until houses are turned over to settlers or army takes control of them. Settlers leave houses saying they would be converted to military use. Police arrest 10 ultra-religious Jews for bombing, setting fire to newsstands, grocery stores carrying secular newspapers [LAT 2/6].
