Israeli naval vessels open fire on Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coast nr. al-Waha, causing no injuries. In the West Bank, the IDF demolishes tents used by over 100 Palestinians in the n. Jordan Valley nr. Tubas; patrols in 3 villages nr. Ramallah and 1 each nr Jericho and Tulkarm in the morning, in 2 villages nr. Jenin in the afternoon, and in 1 village nr. Jenin at night; conducts house searches and arrest raids in 1 village nr. Jenin in the afternoon, and in 1 village each nr. Bethlehem and Jenin at night. Following a meeting in Cairo, Fatah official Azzam al-Ahmad announces that his party and Hamas have agreed on a set of principles to implement a reconciliation agreement.
