Israell Occupied rerritories: Birzeit students protest attack on Islamic college, IDF responds with tear gas, rubber bullets, automatic weapons fire, 4 to 8 students reported wounded.

Palestinians/ Lebanese: Fateh rebels continue attacks on loyalist positions in Jdita.

US and Other Countries: Shultz reportedly tells Shamir and Arens US would like postponement of partial IDF withdrawal so that formula for withdrawal of all foreign forces can be found; US accepts Israeli position that no date will be set for second phase of IDF withdrawal.
