He urges Israel to allow sanctions and diplomacy time to work and to avoid unilateral actions. Obama signs into law the U.S.-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act, which calls for an unprecedented strengthening of military, intelligence, and technology cooperation intended to preserve Israel’s qualitative military edge.
