In the West Bank, Israeli settlers from the Neve Daniel and Elazar settlements sprayed pesticides on 140 olive saplings in al-Khader, destroying the young trees. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Tubas, injuring 1 with a rubber-coated bullet and others with tear gas. Israeli forces also installed a metal gate at the entrance to Jabal al-Fardi east of Bethlehem, restricting the movement of Palestinians. 4 Palestinians were arrested, including 3 during late-night raids in and around Bani Na‘im and Hebron, and 1 was arrested at a checkpoint near Jenin. In the West Bank, Israeli settlers shot and injured 2 Palestinians in Bidya, causing light and moderate injuries. Israeli forces violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Hebron, injuring 1 by hitting him with a tear gas canister to his face. Elsewhere, Israeli forces arrested 1 Palestinian working on his land in Jiftlik and confiscated his bulldozer. Israel started construction of 164 settlement units in the Neve Daniel settlement near Ramallah. 2 Palestinians were arrested, including 1 during a late-night raid in al-‘Arub refugee camp and 1 at a checkpoint near Khan al-Ahmar. In East Jerusalem, 5 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Issawiyya.
