In the Gaza Strip, IDF troops nr. Bayt Hanun open fire on Palestinians demonstrating in the lead-up to Land Day on 3/30, causing no serious injuries. In the West Bank, the IDF conducts house searches and arrest raids in 1 village each nr. Hebron ad Jenin at night; patrols in 1 village each nr. Jenin and Ramallah in the morning, in Salfit and 2 nearby villages, 2 villages nr. Ramallah and 1 village nr. Jenin in the afternoon, and in 2 villages nr. Ramallah, al-Fawar r.c. and 1 village nr. Hebron, and in Jericho at night. Jewish settlers cut down more than 50 olive trees nr. Nablus. (PCHR 4/3)
