In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces disperse with tear gas Palestinian students on their way to school in Abu Dis. The students respond by throwing stones at the Israeli forces; there are no reported injuries or damage in the ensuing confrontation. In the West Bank, IDF troops arrest 3 Palestinians during raids near Ramallah, Hebron, and Tulkarm; and patrol near Hebron, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Salfit, and Ramallah. The Israeli authorities return 25 fishing boats belonging to Palestinian fishermen to the Gaza-based Ministry of Agriculture. The boats were confiscated from fishermen working off Gaza’s coast in recent months. According to the head of the local fishermen’s union, the Israelis still hold 33 fishing boats.
