In the West Bank, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian sheepherders south of Hebron. In East Jerusalem, 1 Palestinian was shot dead after allegedly wielding a knife in the Old City; 1 other person was hit and injured by the ricochet of the bullet fired at the alleged attacker. Israeli forces subsequently raided the home of the alleged attacker in Jabal Mukabir, detaining his father and 2 of his brothers. (AJ, HA, WAFA, WAFA, WAFA 2/22; PCHR 2/27)
