In the West Bank, Israeli settlers raided Yatta, throwing stones at Palestinians and cutting 3 olive trees. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling east of Hebron; no injuries or damage were reported. Israeli forces arrested 6 Palestinians during late-night raids in and around Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jenin. Israeli forces also demolished 2 residential structures and an animal barn in Sawahara al-Sharqiyya. PA prime minister Mohammed Shtayyeh asked about 25,000 Palestinians employed in Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank to stay home from work to reduce transmission of the COVID-19 virus. (HA 3/19)
