In the West Bank, the governor of Salfit ordered a temporary lockdown of Qarawat Bani Hassan because a resident of the town tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian farmer working his land south of Jenin; the settlers stole 1 horse during the attack. Israeli forces violently dispersed he weekly anti-settlement protest in Kafr Qaddum; 2 people were injured by rubber-coated bullets, others suffered tear-gas related injuries. 5 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in and around Qalqilya. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces limited the number of worshippers who were allowed to gather at the Haram al-Sharif compound due to fears of the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
