In the West Bank, Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian family traveling on a road near Jenin, throwing stones at the car and later stealing the car when the family fled from it. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers attacked 1 Palestinian farmer near ‘Ayn al-Hilwa and threw stones at houses in Madama. Israeli forces and Palestinians clashed during raids in Furik and Burin; tear-gas related injuries were reported. Israeli forces arrested 3 Palestinians during late-night raids in and around Qalqilya and ‘Azun. In East Jerusalem, 2 Palestinian minors were arrested during late-night raids in Issawiyya. In Israel, a Palestinian man from the West Bank without a work permit was arrested at a hospital in Tel Aviv, where he was being tested for the COVID-19 virus. The man was then taken to a checkpoint in the West Bank, where he was dropped off on the side of the road. Israeli authorities did not inform PA authorities and an ambulance did not arrive until 1.5 hours after he was left on the side of the road. (WAFA, WAFA 3/23; HA 3/24; PCHR 3/27)

The PA announced that it had received $25 million of the $300 million Israel has been withholding in tax revenue. The $25 million was transferred to help the PA combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. (WAFA 3/23)
