In the West Bank, during a late-night raid in Ya‘bad, 1 Israeli soldier was killed when an unknown assailant dropped a stone on his head. 1 Palestinian was shot and injured after alledgedly attempting to stab an Israeli soldier at the Qalandia checkpoint. 20 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in and around Ya‘bad, Abu Dis, Ramallah, and Hebron. Off the coast of Gaza, Israeli naval forces opened fire on Palestinian fishermen 3 nautical miles west of Bayt Lahiya; 1 Palestinian was hit by live ammunition.
