There are conflicting reports about whether they are shot with live ammunition or rubber-coated metal bullets. Thousands of Palestinians participate in Nakba Day protests across the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including rallies jointly organized by different political factions. In Hebron, IDF troops injure 11 demonstrators with rubber-coated metal bullets. In Gaza City, a large crowd gathers to support of the right of return and to protest continued negotiations with Israel. In East Jerusalem, Israeli police violently disperse a rally, injuring 6.
