Military Action

Occupied Palestine/Israel: In 'Askar refugee camp Palestinian is electrocuted, killed when Israeli soldiers force him to remove Palestinian flag from electric power line. Another Palestinian is killed in Tulkarm; army claims youth was electrocuted while trying to hang flag from power line; Palestinians allege soldiers shot him dead after he hung flag [WP, NYT 4/4]. Violent protests erupt in Tulkarm following funeral; military imposes curfew. Demonstrations break out in several Gaza Strip locations [FJ 4/10].
