In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to 3 Palestinian vehicles in Turmus ‘Ayya. Israeli forces clashed with Palestinians during a raid in Turmus ‘Ayya and Tuqu‘, leading to tear-gas related injuries; 1 Palestinian was shot with a rubber-coated bullet in Tuqu‘. Israeli forces also notified the family of a Palestinian prisoner that their house in Tura would be punitively demolished as collective punishment. 25 Palestinians were arrested, including 24 during late-night raids in al-Mughayyir (16), Abu Dis, Bethlehem, and Kafr Malik (6); 1 was arrested at a checkpoint near Hebron. In East Jerusalem, 1 Palestinian family started demolishing their own home in Bayt Hanina to avoid excessive Israeli demolition fees; 7 people were displaced. 2 Palestinians were arrested during raids in al-Tur. In Israel, Israeli police assaulted Palestinian workers at a construction site in Modi’in, dislocating 1 worker’s shoulder and breaking 1 worker’s nose after receiving a false report of “terror activity”; 4 Palestinians were arrested for working in Israel without a permit.
