In the West Bank, Israeli settlers and Israeli forces harassed and threatened a family of Palestinian citizens of Israel who were picnicking near Jibiya to leave the area. Israeli settlers also assaulted Palestinian herders near al-Twana, forcing them to leave their livestock. Israeli forces injured 3 Palestinians during clashes at a raid in Jenin, including 2 who were shot with rubber-coated bullets and 1 who was run over by a military vehicle. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Kafr Qaddum, injuring 5 with rubber-coated bullets; others suffered tear-gas related injuries. Elsewhere, Israeli forces violently dispersed a tree planting event in Bidya, causing injuries. Israeli forces also clashed with Palestinians after establishing a checkpoint near Bayt Umar, leading to tear-gas related injuries. 1 Palestinian was arrested during a late-night raid in Hebron. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces clashed with Palestinians during an Israeli raid in al-Tur. In Israel, more than 10,000 Palestinian citizens of Israel marched against gun violence in Tamra; 1 Palestinian-Israeli passerby was shot and killed by Israeli police during a shootout on 2/1. In Israel, protesters demonstrated outside of prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s official residence for the 33d Saturday in a row. This week, the thousands of anti-corruption protesters were joined by Palestinians from Silwan who protested the systematic eviction of Palestinians from the East Jerusalem neighborhood.
