In the West Bank, Israeli forces punitively demolished the family home of 1 Palestinian man accused of killing 1 Israeli settler in October 2022, blowing up the house in Hebron with explosives. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Burqa, causing tear-gas related injuries. Elsewhere, Israeli forces demolished 2 agricultural structures in al-Walaja. 24 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Beitunia, al-Bireh, Ramallah, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Jenin, Deir Sharaf, Tayasir, Aida refugee camp, and Beit Kahil. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that the White House is “deeply dismayed by the Israeli announcement” from 10/12 to legalize settlement outposts and expand settlements.
