In the West Bank, Israeli settlers damaged Palestinian crops by letting their sheep graze on their fields. Israeli forces demolished a fence in Azzun ‘Atma. 6 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Ya’bad and Husan. Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, met at Netanyahu’s office to discuss the murder rate in some Palestinian cities and towns in Israel. At the meeting, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara warned that enlisting the Shin Bet in the issue would violate the rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel. After the meeting a statement was issued by Netanyahu’s office saying that he had issued instructions for preparations to include the Shin Bet in policing Palestinian cities and towns.
