In the West Bank, 1 Palestinian man succumbed to wounds sustained from Israeli forces on 8/15 in Nablus. Unidentified gunmen shot and killed 2 Israeli settlers at a car wash near Huwwara. Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling in the Nablus area and posted posters saying, “Burn down Huwwara.” Israeli settlers also threw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near al-Bireh, causing damage. Israeli forces closed the Huwwara and Za’tara checkpoints and imposed further restrictions on travelers at the Deir Sharaf and Beit Furik checkpoints. Israeli forces escorting Israeli settlers prevented Palestinian municipal workers from carrying out work on a road in Qaffin and seized a truck. Elsewhere, Israeli forces seized a concrete mixer in Arab al-Zawaidin in the Masafer Yatta area. In East Jerusalem, Israeli settlers assaulted 1 Palestinian minor in the Old City, fracturing his arm.
