In the West Bank, Israeli settlers with a military escort raid ‘Urif, injuring 6 Palestinians. Israeli settlers also attack Palestinians in Burqa, throwing burning tires on homes and setting fire to agricultural land. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers steal barbed wire fencing and bring their sheep to graze on farmland in Ein al-Beida. Israeli forces shoot and injure a Palestinian and injure others with tear gas during a raid in Beit Umar. Israeli forces also seize a tractor, a cart, and demolish 3 structures in Buqi’a in the northern Jordan Valley. Elsewhere, Israeli forces arrest 22 Palestinians during late-night raids in and around Hebron, Arrabah, Tulkarm, Ramallah, al-Bireh, Qalqilya, and Jericho. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Gaza City, Dayr al-Balah, al-Bureij refugee camp, Shati’ refugee camp, Maghazi, and Rafah, killing at least 9 people. More than 37,084 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 15,103 children and 10,000 women, and around 84,494 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 7,000 people are missing in rubble, including 1,700 children. 525 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 127 children. More than 5,100 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 295 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 1,908 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. At least 79,000 housing units have been destroyed and 370,000 have been damaged in Israeli airstrikes since 10/7/2023. 59 trucks carrying aid enter Gaza. Israeli war cabinet member Benny Gantz withdraws his National Unity party from the emergency government, resigns from the war cabinet, and calls for new elections. Gadi Eisenkot and Chili Tropper also resign from the war cabinet. In a speech, Gantz calls on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “stand behind” and “promote” the ceasefire proposal the war cabinet had accepted. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir demands that he is appointed to the war cabinet. The government coalition still has a parliamentary majority.
