In the West Bank, Israeli settlers and soldiers assault Palestinians harvesting olives in Salem. Israeli forces, stationed in a home they seized a day earlier, shoot and injure a Palestinian man driving a vehicle in Turmus ‘Ayya. Israeli forces also shoot and injure a Palestinian man during a raid in Jayyus. Elsewhere, Israeli forces demolish 2 agricultural structures in Beit ‘Anan. Israeli forces also arrest 18 Palestinians during raids in and around Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, and Jerusalem. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Gaza City, Khan Yunis, Rafah, Nuseirat refugee camp, Jabalia refugee camp, and Beit Lahiya, killing at least 48 people. Israeli forces also invade Nuseirat refugee camp, reportedly to expand the Nitzarim Corridor, shooting and killing several people. In Lebanon, Israeli forces violate the ceasefire by bombing and opening fire in several places, including Markaba and Kfarchouba. The Israeli military warns people against returning to 62 villages in southern Lebanon, including 20 that the Israeli military has not entered and says people are not allowed to go south of an invisible line made up by the villages Shebaa, al-Habbariyeh, Marjayoun, Arnoun, Yahmor, Qantara, Chaqra, Barashit, Yatar, and al-Mansouri. More than 44,330 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,500 children and 11,487 women, and around 104,933 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 797 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 169 children. More than 6,500 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 378 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,456 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 87% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. The Israeli Security Cabinet extends for a year the correspondence banking agreement between Israeli and Palestinian banks. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says the agreement was extended to thwart U.S. plans to allow a resolution at the UN Security Council that would recognize a Palestinian state. Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he is ready for a ceasefire in Gaza to release the Israeli captives, but that he will not end the war on Gaza. Israeli housing and construction minister Yitzchak Goldknopf says Israel should build settlements in Gaza as punishment for the ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant. Israeli settler leader Daniella Weiss says she has visited Gaza “one or twice every week” since the second week of October 2023.
