In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to a barn in Dahariya. Israeli settlers also graze their cattle on Palestinian farmland in al-Burj. Israeli forces continue raids in Jenin and Jenin refugee camp for the 69th day in a row. Israeli forces also continue raids in Tulkarm, Tulkarm refugee camp, and Nur Shams refugee camp for the 63rd day in a row. Elsewhere, Israeli forces storm a mosque in Rashayda during the Eid al-Fitr prayers, vandalizing its windows and cars parked outside. Israeli forces also issue a stop-work order for a plot of land near Yasuf. Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrest 3 Palestinian shepherds after they are harassed by Israeli settlers in al-Rahim in the Masafer Yatta area. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Khan Yunis, Rafah, Gaza City, al-Mawasi, and Jabalia refugee camp, killing at least 64 Palestinians. Palestinians also find the bodies of 15 Palestinians, including 8 Red Crescent paramedics, 5 Civil Defense workers, and a UN staffer in Rafah who have been missing since 3/23. Some of the dead humanitarian workers had their hands bound and were shot in the chest before being buried by Israeli forces. Satellite images show 5 rescue vehicles used by the humanitarian workers destroyed. In Yemen, U.S. forces bomb Saada, al-Asayed, Sanaa, and Bani Maadh. Houthi forces fire a missile at Israel, which is intercepted before making impact. More than 50,341 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,881 children and 12,749 women, and around 114,095 have been injured since 10/7/2023. In addition, 14,222 Palestinians who have been missing are presumed dead. 937 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 186 children. More than 6,500 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 408 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,579 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 92% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies condemn the Israeli killing of 8 Red Crescent medics who were found today after being missing since 3/23, calling it the single deadliest attack on Red Cross and Red Crescent workers anywhere since 2017. (AJ, REU 3/30; WAFA 3/31)

An “anonymous senior officer in a non-reservist [Israeli military] brigade” writes in Haaretz that Palestinians in Gaza are used as human shields by Israeli forces at least 6 times a day as part of the “mosquito protocol.” They say Israeli forces call the Palestinian human shields “Shawish” and use them to clear buildings. French president Emmanuel Macron speaks with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he told Netanyahu to allow aid into Gaza and to end the strikes on the territory. Netanyahu tweets that if Hamas disarms Israel is willing to discuss the final stage of the ceasefire deal, which Israel broke, adding “we will see to the general security in the Gaza Strip and will allow the realization of the Trump plan for voluntary migration.
