In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to a car and throw Molotov cocktails at homes in Qira. Israeli settlers also assault Palestinian shepherds near al-Maniya. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers cultivate Palestinian farmland near Sinjil. Israeli forces shoot and kill a Palestinian child in Husan, claiming he threw stones at vehicles. Israeli forces also continue raids in Jenin and Jenin refugee camp for the 73rd day in a row, killing a Palestinian man in Jenin. Elsewhere, Israeli forces shoot and injure a Palestinian man during a raid in Beita. Israeli forces also continue raids in Tulkarm, Tulkarm refugee camp, and Nur Shams refugee camp for the 67th day in a row. Meanwhile, Israeli forces open fire at Palestinian vehicles in Qusra, causing damage. Israeli forces also prevent a Palestinian family from grazing their livestock in Mufaggara. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Rafah, Khan Yunis, and Gaza City, killing at least 86 Palestinians. Israeli forces also bomb a water desalination plant in Gaza City and begins a ground invasion of the Shujaiyeh neighborhood. In Lebanon, Israeli forces assassinate Hamas commander Hassan Farhat, also killing his wife and son, in an airstrike on Sidon. In Yemen, U.S. forces bomb al-Asayid. Houthi forces launch a drone at Israel, which is intercepted before making impact, and claim to shoot down a F360 reconnaissance drone. More than 50,609 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,881 children and 12,749 women, and around 115,063 have been injured since 10/7/2023. In addition, 14,222 Palestinians who have been missing are presumed dead. 942 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 188 children. More than 6,500 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 408 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,584 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 92% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. The UN Human Rights Council passes 2 resolutions presented by Palestine. A/HRC/58/L.32/REV.1 calls the Israeli occupation illegal and says it must be ended while also calling for divestment and boycotts of entities operating in Israeli settlements. 34 countries vote for the resolution, 10 abstain, and Czechia, Ethiopia, and North Macedonia vote against. A/HRC/58/L/.31, backing the Palestinian right to self-determination, passes with 43 votes for, 2 abstentions, and Czechia and North Macedonia voting against. (AJ, WAFA 4/4)
