In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis, Nuseirat refugee camp, Gaza City, al-Maghazi, and Rafah, killing at least 44 Palestinians. Israeli forces stop Israelis who try to enter Gaza to begin resettlement efforts. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Houla and Kaouthariyet al-Saiyad, killing 2 people. More than 51,201 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,881 children and 12,749 women, and around 116,869 have been injured since 10/7/2023. In addition, 14,222 Palestinians who have been missing are presumed dead. 950 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 190 children. More than 8,000 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 409 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,584 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 92% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. Palestinian prisoner Nasser Khalil Radaydeh dies at the Hadassah Hospital after being transferred there from Ofer Prison on 4/19. Radaydeh, who was 49-year-old, was arrested on 9/18/2023. Israel releases an investigation into the killing of 15 Palestinians medics on 3/23 in Rafah, falsely claiming that there is no evidence that they were executed and saying Israeli forces felt threatened by the sight of ambulances and that the Palestinians and their vehicles were buried to prevent further harm. Israel also claims 6 of the Palestinians “were identified in a retrospective examination as Hamas terrorists,” providing no evidence for the claim. The deputy commander of the Golani Reconnaissance Battalion is dismissed for providing an incomplete and inaccurate report during the debriefing following the event.
