In the West Bank, Israeli settlers attack Palestinians at a solid waste disposal site in Beit ‘Anan, injuring several people and stealing equipment. Israeli settlers also raid a school in Zanuta, stealing doors, panels, and room dividers and vandalizing it. Israeli forces chase a Palestinian man who collapses and dies near the separation wall in al-Ram. Israeli forces also assault and injure a Palestinian man during a raid in Turmus ‘Ayya. Elsewhere, Israeli forces continue raids in Jenin and Jenin refugee camp for the 97th day in a row, forcing 20 families to evacuate their homes in al-Zahraa neighborhood. Israeli forces also continue raids in Tulkarm, Tulkarm refugee camp, and Nur Shams refugee camp for the 91st day in a row. Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrest 14 Palestinians during raids in and around ash-Shouykh, Dahariya, al-Ram, and Jalazone refugee camp. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Gaza City, al-Sudaniyya, Jabalia refugee camp, Khan Yunis, al-Mawasi, Dayr al-Balah, Rafah, and Nuseirat refugee camp, killing at least 50 Palestinians, including 13 people in the same home in Khan Yunis and 8 at a tent camp also in Khan Yunis. In Tamra, Israeli authorities demolish a Palestinian-owned agricultural structure and arrest the owner. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Beirut, al-Majidia, and Halta, killing 1 person in Halta. Israel claims the site in Beirut stored missiles, but no secondary explosions were reported. In Yemen, U.S. forces bomb Sanaa, al-Sabeen, and Bani al-Harith, killing 10 people. More than 52,243 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 18,000 children and 12,749 women, and around 117,639 have been injured since 10/7/2023. In addition, 14,222 Palestinians who have been missing are presumed dead. 955 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 192 children. More than 8,000 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 411 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,584 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 92% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismisses the idea of establishing a Palestinian state, saying “the idea is folly, nothing more than folly.” Netanyahu also says a “bad deal is worse than no deal” in reference to the U.S.-Iranian talks on the Iranian nuclear program, suggesting that a good deal would be the Libya example where all the nuclear infrastructure was removed.
