A Gaza court convicts several Palestinians identified as mbrs. of the Hamas security forces working for a Salafist group of the 2011 killing of Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni (see QU in JPS 160). (MNA 9/17)

A PA court in Jericho extends the detention of Freedom Theater director and former AMB commander Zakaria Zubeidi by 19 days. In response, Zubeidi renews his hunger strike, which he had previously relaxed. (MNA 9/17)
