In Gaza, a Palestinian dies in a smuggling tunnel collapse on the n. Gaza border. The IDF patrols in 5 villages nr. Qalqilya, 3 nr. Ramallah, and 1 nr. Jenin, randomly stopping 1 Palestinian, questioning him, and summoning him for interrogation; conducts late-night arrest raids, house searches nr. Qalqilya. (PCHR 7/28; OCHA 7/29)
