In the West Bank, the IDF conducts late-night patrols in Birzeit nr. Ramallah and ‘Aqabat Jabir village and ‘Ayn alSultan r.c. nr. Jericho, searching 1 home and handing out 1 summons to report for questioning. Palestinians (sometimes accompanied by Israeli and international activists) hold weekly nonviolent demonstrations against the separation wall and land confiscations in Bil‘in, Ni‘lin, Dayr Nizam/al-Nabi Salih, al-Ma‘sara, Wadi Rahal s. of Bethlehem. IDF soldiers fire rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades at the protesters, leaving 10s suffering tear gas inhalation and 3 Palestinians injured, arresting 2 international activists (released hrs. later after questioning).
