In the West Bank, the IDF enters Jayyus village nr. Qalqilya at midday, patrolling streets and searching homes, summoning 2 Palestinians for questioning; patrols in Marda village nr. Salfit in the afternoon without incident; conducts a late-night arrest raid and house search in Dayr Nizam. Palestinians and international activists hold nonviolent demonstrations against land confiscation and settlement expansion nr. Karme Tzur settlement nr. Hebron and in the Hebron market area; the IDF fires rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades at the protesters, leaving 10s suffering tear gas inhalation. (PCHR 7/7; OCHA 7/9)
