IDF troops on the n. Gaza border fire warning shots at Palestinians scavenging construction materials fr. the fmr. Jewish settlement sites nr. the border, wounding 1 Palestinian. Israel naval vessels fire on and detain 1 Palestinian fishing boat off the Bayt Lahiya coast, holding 2 fishermen for several hrs., questioning them and confiscating their boat. (PCHR 7/15; OCHA 7/16)
