IDF troops on the Israeli side of the Erez crossing fire on Palestinians scavenging construction materials from the industrial zone, forcing them to flee but causing no casualties. IDF troops make a brief incursion 300 m into Gaza e. of al-Qarara to level land to clear lines of sight. In the West Bank, the IDF conducts late night arrest raids, house searches in al-Am‘ari r.c. nr. Ramallah, Bethlehem, Dayr Nizam.
