In the West Bank, IDF troops halt a Palestinian car nr. Hebron full of laborers heading to their jobs in Israel; detain and beat the driver for more than 3 hrs. before Israeli border police intervene. The IDF also conducts late-night raids, house searches in Qalqilya, Nablus, and Balata r.c. nr. Nablus, making no arrests. Jewish settlers fr.
