Israeli naval vessels fire on Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Rafah, seriously wounding 1 Palestinian fisherman, forcing boats to return to shore. In the West Bank, the IDF sends troops into Kafr al-Dik nr. Salfit late in the afternoon, where they fire on residential areas and then on stone-throwing youths who confront them, wounding 5 with rubber-coated steel bullets; conducts late-night arrest raids, house searches nr. Bethlehem and in Ni‘lin. Jewish settlers fr. Beit HaShalom and Kiryat Arba vandalize nearly a dozen Palestinian homes and shops nearby; the IDF observes but does not intervene.
