The IDF reopens the Erez crossing (closed since a 5/22 bombing) for limited VIP and medical travel; sends troops, bulldozers into al-Bureij r.c. in c. Gaza to level 70 d. of agricultural land. In the West Bank, the IDF conducts late-night arrest raids, house searches in Hebron, and in and around Jenin town and r.c., Nablus. Jewish settlers attempt to occupy a plot of Palestinian land nr.
