In response to pressure from the High Court of Justice, Israel’s security cabinet decides to stop returning the corpses of Hamas-affiliated Palestinians who carry out serious attacks against Israelis to their families. They condone the return of other Palestinian assailants’ corpses, however. The IDF still supports returning the corpses in general, while DM Lieberman supports withholding them as a deterrent.
