Israeli police acknowledge that they have begun letting obviously religious Jews (e.g., wearing kippas) join tours of the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif; say this is part of a gradual process to reinstate the status quo before the 9/00 Sharon visit to the site that sparked the al-Aqsa intifada.
