Israel releases 335 Palestinian prisoners (see 8/4). The IDF makes a rare raid on Jericho, imposing a 5-hr. curfew, arresting 15 mbrs. of the Palestinian security services for allegedly plotting an attack. Palestinians toss a grenade at Neve Dekalim settlement in Gaza, causing no damage or injuries.
