Low-level Israeli-Palestinian clashes continue, leaving 1 Palestinian dead. In a predawn raid, the IDF sends bulldozers and tanks into Rafah, under cover of shells and machine gun fire, to demolish at least 19 Palestinian homes. Jewish settlers close the Hebron-Bethlehem road, attack Palestinian vehicles.
