Israeli-Palestinian clashes continue. An Israeli taxi driver is fatally shot at a checkpoint nr. Qalandiyya camp, where he dropped off a carload of Palestinian laborers. Outside Ramallah, Palestinian ambulance driver, his aide responding to a call are detained for over 1 hr., severely beaten by IDF soldiers; when a 2d ambulance comes upon the scene, the soldiers detain the 2 medics for 20 mins. before allowing them to take their colleagues to a hospital, where the 1st driver is placed in intensive care.
